As a social enterprise born to support aspiring and experienced performers, we want to see people developing their passions, finding new audiences and discovering exciting opportunities to generate an income.
We are also focused on providing opportunities related to the technical aspects of production and management of live performance, including set design, stage management and sound and light engineering.
Iconic was born in 2012: we saw a gap and a need in the performing arts industry for people to connect and share their talents.
Our primary focus i son using music, drama and dance to turn the spotlight on issues that affect individuals, communities and society.
We achieve this by working with emerging and experienced artists/performers who are passionate about supporting others and both sharing and showcasing their talent(s)
Through Iconic we provide opportunities to become part of our online community, project delivery network and to connect to other artists/performers and industry professionals
Our mission is to positively impact on people’s health and well-being while supporting artist and performers with their personal, career and business development aspirations. The key areas we focus on are:
Social purpose, health and well-being: to address inequalities in society and promote a proactive, preventative approach to health and well-being.
Development: to assist artists and performers with their skill development, confidence and understanding of the performing arts industry.Have your chance to stand out from the crowd!
Managing Director
I have over 20 years’ experience in business development within the charitable and social enterprise sector, setting up projects and programmes that benefit individuals and the community. I am a firm believer that helping others is a good thing to do, creates stronger communities and helping to build a happier society for everyone: It’s not all about money – we can also give our time, ideas and energy to help make this successful. This is what makes Iconic such an exciting initiative.
Associate/artist
I have a long-standing volunteering background and I have dedicated my time to causes such as but not limited to; Oxjam Music Festival, Beating Bowel Cancer, FTM Dance, Leicester Comedy Festival, Big Difference Company, Art Beat Festival, De Montfort University, Coventry University, Scoliosis Association UK and the YMCA.
Having gained a BSc Hons in Psychology, I have worked within the sector in support worker roles, before moving onto administration, management and training roles. I am currently enjoying what I describe as my ‘dream role’ of an Events and Communications Officer. This experience has helped me become part of Iconic Music, Drama and Dance Ltd and I welcome the opportunity to support artists/performers and take Iconic forward.
Director
Having grown up in the Financial Services Industry I have recently stepped out of the world of investments to create my own business JSP Virtual. I am both honoured and excited to part of the Iconic the team working on overall strategy and development aiding project management.
My aim is to ensure as a social enterprise we still remain profitable. This is vital so that we can continue to support the wider community through our projects.
Working alongside Curtis on strategy we provide virtual admin assistance and technical support.

I have experience in B2B marketing and a passion for drawing people’s attention to the great things in life. The part that first attracted me to Iconic was the background behind its creation as a social enterprise. Having enjoyed Performing Arts so much at college and with a family involved in the Arts, it definitely sparked a connection.
Volunteer Ambassador
My passion and enthusiasm for the performing arts led me to apply for the role of Volunteer Business Administrator at Iconic and I strive to make positive social change through my voluntary work. My experience of being the Vice President of my Student Union in the past has made me confident in my own abilities and I believe I will be able to contribute towards the organisation reaching its goals and targets. Being part of the team is helping me to learn, develop new skills and grow as a person. My sense of humour helps me to get on well with people, even those I meet for the first time.
